Meet Sarah

Hi, I am Sarah Mitchell – a 42-year-old mom of three, coffee enthusiast, and breakfast devotee.

For as long as I can remember, mornings have been my favorite time of day. There’s something magical about those quiet moments before the world fully wakes up, when the kitchen is filled with the smell of something delicious on the stove.

Our Story

Five years ago, my mornings looked very different. I was stuck in a breakfast rut – serving the same rotation of cereal, toast, and scrambled eggs week after week. My kids were bored, my husband was uninspired, and honestly, so was I. But as someone who’s always loved cooking, I knew breakfast could be so much more.

One Saturday morning, I decided to experiment. I

made coconut banana pancakes with a caramelized topping. The reaction from my family was instant—wide eyes, happy faces, and requests for “more of this, please!” That simple moment sparked something in me.

I started waking up thirty minutes earlier to try new recipes.

Savory breakfast bowls. Baked oatmeal cups. Shakshuka. Homemade granola. Each experiment was photographed, tweaked, and tested on my willing (and sometimes skeptical) family. I shared my creations on social media, and friends began asking for recipes.

“You should start a blog,” my best friend suggested over coffee one afternoon.

So I did.
